If you were to ask me four years ago, THIS would have been my answer.

Now four years down the road, little has changed except for a few minor details:

  • I am now four years older (you had to see that one coming)
  • I live in a completely different country (hint – its where scones and tea are considered to be an institution)
  • Have become considerably ‘curvier’ (mostly in thanks to the constant flow of £1 frozen pizzas)
  • And have a constant high frequency of cynicism (so really, nothing much has changed).

And for those who knew me in my blog heyday – Yes, I finally went somewhere!

This blog was set up mainly to document my life or lack thereof in the UK. I moved here in September 2010 and a whole seven months have gone by without as much as a whiny post from me, which frankly, you should be quite happy about. But fear not, I am here now and solemnly swear to update you on all the jazz, drama but mostly the horrifically mundane details of my life.

I’m hoping that this blog, unlike its predecessor endures the test of time. I have an awful habit of letting go of the things, so let’s hope I don’t fall into the same trap with this one. But who am I kidding, I probably will, so don’t hold your breath.

Yes, I have been known to be the epitome of pessimism and the personification of cynicism. Why do you ask?

Truly an excellent blog and it won’t be naive to say that it is one the best blogs I’ve come across in my life. You may say I’m boasting to make you feel happy…but honestly I’m not and I’m a terrible liar – so it is the truth!

You truly are a great writer and you have an excellent gift along with many others. Your funny and exciting memoirs helped me get through a boring and a sleepy afternoon at work today and I owe you a great deal for that! They say it’s the simple things in life that matters the most and for some unknown reason, it seem to matters to me as well. So I hope you wouldn’t let go of what you are good at.

And No!…you won’t be alone with your cats and this blog when you are eighty…you’ll be surrounded by people who love you the most along with many more beautiful memories to cherish!
